2D ECHO is a non-invasive diagnostic technique for the provision of information on cardiac function and hemodynamics and is the most frequently used cardiovascular diagnostic test after ECG and chest X-ray. Sound waves are used to observe and assess cardiac muscles, cardiac chambers, valves etc. and also helps to determine the amount and rate of blood flow through all the chambers of heart.
